Membership criteria

The library is a part of the Alliance Française de Madras which is non-profit organization under the “Society Act” of India.  Only the members of the association and its students can be a member of the Library.

Membership details

4 Rs. 1000 – Annual membership
4 Rs. 7000 – Lifetime membership
4 Rs. 500 – Membership for students (upto Level II), Professors of Alliance Française & Ex-students of AFM
4 Free for Students of level III (Diplôme) and onwards

The members would be given a membership card & the students a student card.  The membership to the library given upon furnishing the membership card.  .

Loan details

Number: 4 books, 2 audio-visual documents: Audio CDs / VHS / CD-Roms (subject to a caution money of Rs. 500 (Note: DVDs are not let out)
